Toddler Dies in Car Inches from Parent

According to the Miami Herald, a two year old Miramar boy died Thursday when he got his head caught in the window of his father's car while his father slept in the front seat. He apparently was leaning out of the window of the car when he accidentally pressed the up switch on the car window. This unfortunate tragedy may have been prevented with better safety mechanisms on the car. The accident happened outside of a medical building, but the boy suffocated and was pronounced dead at Dimaggio's children's hospital.
